#46 Quitting Time

This afternoon a crew was cleaning the banks of the canal behind my house. Once or twice a year they come along and whack the weeds and prune trees along the banks of this little canal. Today was their day in this 91 degree temperature with the feel of 100 degrees.  All the men were fully dressed from head to foot. This guy was the first one to call it quits a few minutes before 4 PM. I can't imagine how hot and tired he is, how hungry and thirsty, as he continued to pull up his shirt and rubbed his belly. Then yawned and drank straight out of the water jug.

They left at four or so with intentions of cleaning up, filling their empty stomachs and quenching their thirst. And celebrate the July 4th weekend.
